Returning to their instrumental soul roots, Frollen Music Library delivers ‘Sweet Treats - Vol. 2’, a collection of 15 compositions that explore the sweeter, dreamier and downtempo side of late 60s soul music.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic Motown, Stax and Hi Records catalogue, process and sound, Sweet Treats - Vol. 2 shifts through various moods and arrangements within the soul idiom. It features hooky melodies, arpeggiated piano and octave guitar backed as always by the iconic drum and bass rhythm section of the FML house band.
This sample pack was crafted using only sounds from the 60s, including Vintage Harmony Guitars, Vintage P-Bass, Hammond Organ, Upright Piano, Kangaroo-Hide Drums, Glockenspiel, and Percussion. Every sound has been meticulously captured using Langevin and Flickenger-style preamps and vintage microphones, guaranteeing pristine audio quality. As always, all compositions are BPM labelled, performed and recorded on real instruments, and mixed down to 1/4" tape, allowing for seamless integration into your next production.
