Discovered at a suburban garage sale and lovingly restored, the centrepiece of this collection - a one-of-a-kind handcrafted harp - weaves its ethereal voice through each composition. Recorded at The College of Knowledge HQ, the F.M.L. house band contrasts the sparseness of delicate harp plucks with the fullness of vibraphone shimmer and kangaroo-hide percussion, creating a sonic landscape that feels both intimate and expansive.

Like Jack Arel and Pierre Dutour's experimental yet accessible compositions, "Harp After Dark" seamlessly blends the DIY ethos of handcrafted instruments with distinctly melodic structures, rendering the strange and unfamiliar utterly approachable.
